This course covers the first phase of an initiative, the Concept Phase. It gives the attendees a thorough understanding and hands-on experience of the steps and techniques involved in a Concept Phase.
The Concept Phase takes an initiative from the germ of an idea right through to the end of a business case and proposal of how to proceed with it. It includes the pre-concept work that needs to be done to kick off the Concept Phase steps, it covers all the concept steps in detail and then looks at the best way to close out the Concept Phase and prepare for the Initiate Phase.
This course takes you through the process and the deliverables involved in the Concept Phase. You will take a case study through each of the 7 concept steps - discovery, desired outcomes, high level features, invention, high level design, high level estimates, plan and proposal - looking at the deliverables from each step and the techniques used to produce them.
