Daniel Prager
Dan teaches and consults for Software Education. He specialises in Agile methodologies, IT Management, and Business Analysis. He brings extensive experience, insight and empathy to the training and coaching of software teams and individuals.
Prior to joining Software Education, Dan developed advanced software applications, desktop and web-based, bespoke and commercial, for over 13 years, across a variety of fields, including: staff scheduling, financial modelling, medical device control and data analysis, the teaching and application of informal logic, and qualitative decision-making.
Dan's IT experience spans a wide range of technical and managerial positions. These include: programmer, analyst, consultant, researcher, lead developer, development manager, as well as executive roles at a software start-up.
Dan holds a PhD in mathematical computational physics and a Diploma of Education. He has a young (and feisty) family, and finds time to train in and teach martial arts.
